According to the FA regulations of the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO), a club that recruited a player from Group A (with an annual salary of 250 million won or more) pays 200% of the previous season’s annual salary and one compensation player, or 300% of the previous season’s annual salary. The transfer fee must be paid to the original club.
Accordingly, KB Insurance chose the former and brought Park Jin-woo.
He is returning to his home team after 4 years. Park Jin-woo joined the Dream Six volleyball team (now Woori Card) in the 2nd place in the 1st round of the 2012-2013 season, and moved his enemy to KB Insurance through a trade in May 2019.
He played 35 matches last season, digested 124 sets, scored 162 points (51.8% attack success rate), and recorded 0.48 per blocking set. After the season, he became a free agent and re-signed with KB Insurance for 360 million won, but ended up wearing a Woori card uniform.
Meanwhile, Park Jin-woo, who was nominated as a reward player, will join Wooricar from the 24th.
