Ko Jin-young, first appearance of the season, cruising 4 under par on the first day of Honda Thailand (overall)

Ko Jin-young (Solaire) cruised by hitting 4 under par in her first appearance of the LPGA tour season.

In the first round of the Honda LPGA Thailand (total prize money of 1.7 million dollars) held at the Siam Country Club Pattaya Old Course (par 72) in Chonburi, Thailand on the 23rd (Korean time), Ko hit a 4 under par 68 with 5 birdies and 1 bogey.

He was named tied for 17th, three strokes behind the leader.

Kim Hyo-joo (Lotte) tied for ninth with a 5-under-par 67, and Anna Lin (Mediheal) tied for 17th with a 4-under par with Ko Jin-young.

Jeon In-ji (KB Financial Group) tied for 48th with 4 birdies and 3 bogeys with 1 under par and 71 strokes.

On the other hand, Jarabi Bunchant (Thailand), Hataoka Nasa (Japan), Lin Siyu (China), Anna Nordqvist (Sweden), and Jennifer Cupcho (USA) formed a joint lead group with a 7 under par 65 strokes.
