‘KKKKKKKKKK + 7 innings, 2 runs’ Cy Young Young pitcher, 9th inning, 1 out victory, fly away

Texas Rangers’ Jacob deGrom’s victory flew with one out in the ninth inning. 

DeGrom took the mound as a starting pitcher in a home game against the Kansas City Royals held at Globe Life Field in Texas on the 12th (Korean time), recording 7 hits, 9 strikeouts and 2 runs in 7 innings.

He pitched QS+, throwing a high-speedball of 101.2 miles (162.9 km), but the win fell through as the game was tied with one out in the ninth, leading 4–3. 

DeGrom started off with a three-way exit in the first inning. He struck out looking for MJ Melendez on a 100.1 mph four-seam fastball and struck out Salvador Pérez swinging false with a 90.4 mph slider.

In the second inning, leadoff hitter Vinny Pasquantino hit a ground-rule double. The second baseman gets one out on a grounder and the runner advances to third base. He struck out on a swing with a 101.2 mph fastball, the highest speed of the day at 1 out and 3 base, and overcame the crisis with an infield grounder without a run.

In the third inning, deGrom was also hit with a superior double by Isbel, the leadoff hitter. After he struck out, he allowed a right-handed hit to Bobby Witt Jr. to tie the game 1–1.

Texas took a 2-1 lead on Nathaniel Lowe’s dominant double in the third inning following back-to-back hits by Marcus Semien and Corey Seager. Adolis Garcia’s sacrifice fly made it 3-1.

deGrom gave up another run in the fourth. Leading batter Pasquantino hit another double following the second inning. He got two outs with a fly ball from shortstop and struck out, but a right-handed hit by Fran Mill Reyes allowed the team to pursue 3-2.

The 5th episode ended with a tripartite retreat. He turned three batters with a third baseman grounder, a second baseman grounder, and a second baseman straight hit. Then, in the 6th inning, he struck out 1 and ended the inning with a triple strike. 카지노

DeGrom was sluggish in the opening game against Philadelphia, allowing 5 runs on 6 hits (1 home run) in 3⅔innings. On the 6th, against Baltimore, he recorded his first victory with 2 hits, 2 runs (1 earned) and 11 strikeouts in 6 innings. On this day, he pitched well with 2 runs in 7 innings against Kansas City. In the last two games, he recorded an average ERA of 1.50 with 20 strikeouts and 4 runs (3 ERA) in 13 innings, showing the old powerful deGrom.
