From Klinsman, Hwang In-bum, to Asian Cup officials
The new head coach of the national soccer team, coach Jurgen Klinsmann, started studying Korea.
The Korea Football Association held the 2023 Leaders Conference looking back at the Qatar World Cup at the Goyang International Youth Culture Center on the 15th. Director Klinsman, who said, “Every day is a learning process,” seemed to be eager to study Korea. He said, “I am learning about Korea and soccer,” and “I think it is one of the interesting and learning processes.”
Director Klinsman continued to emphasize learning. He said it was an honor to be in charge of the Korean national team, and said, “I will do everything possible to achieve success.”
He said, “I hope we can learn from each other,” and “I, like everyone else, have gone through ups and downs in my life, so I hope there are areas where I can get advice.” “I have been active for 40 years and have had a lot of experience. I want to inform the A national team players about this.”
Coach Klinsman emphasized communication in the future national team coaching method, adding learning once again. Regarding modern soccer, he explained, “There have been many changes such as data and technology,” and “in addition, there is collaboration with the medical team and administration.” At the same time, he added, “We need an international start to communicate with the association, K-League coaches, players, Tottenham and Naples Mallorca.”
Coach Klinsman said, “There may be differences from Korea, but human resource management is important.”
Earlier, he mentioned Tottenham Hotspur, Naples and Mallorca, meaning Son Heung-min, Kim Min-jae and Lee Kang-in. This time, the range was broadened, including Olympiacos and Wolverhampton Wanderers, the teams belonging to Hwang In-beom and Hwang Hee-chan.
