Jin Young Ko has regained the top spot in the world rankings.

In the weekly women’s golf world rankings released on Oct. 22 (local time), Ko Jin-young earned 8.26 points, surpassing Nellie Coda (8.25 points-USA) by 0.01 points to become the No. 1 player. This is the first time in seven months that Ko has been ranked No. 1 since late October last year. While there was no U.S. Women’s Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour event last week, the results reflect her recent performance.토토사이트

Ko has two wins on the LPGA Tour this season, including the HSBC Women’s World Championship in March and the Cognizant Founders Cup in May. She is first in stroke average (69.11) and CME Globe Race (1,367 points), second in money ($970,692) and Player of the Year (75 points). Ko first became the world No. 1 in April 2019 and has spent a total of 146 weeks atop the rankings through this week. She is second only to the retired Lorena Ochoa (158 weeks-Mexico) for the most weeks at the top of the world rankings.

Lydia Ko (New Zealand) is third, Lilia Boo (USA) is fourth, and Lee Min-Ji (Australia) is fifth. South Korea is represented by Kim Hyo-ju at No. 10, Jeon Ji-in at No. 12, Choi Hye-jin at No. 24, and Park Min-ji at No. 27. Sung Yoo-jin Sung, winner of the Doosan Match Play Championship on the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, is No. 85, up 19 spots from No. 104. Sung was ranked No. 135 in early April, but her runner-up finish at the LPGA Tour’s Lotte Championship pushed her up to No. 107 and into the top 100.
