“Daejeon to Korea” street cheer at Gwanghwamun Square from 5am

A street cheer for the South Korean Under-20 football team, led by Kim Eun-joong, will start at 5am tomorrow at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.

The U-20 FIFA World Cup semi-final match against Italy starts at 6am.

The street cheer, organised by the national team supporters ‘Red Devils’, is supported by the Korea Federation of Businessmen and Entrepreneurs, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.먹튀검증

Earlier, Seoul’s Jongno District Office held a deliberation committee on the afternoon of the 8th and gave final approval for the event.

It will be the first time in about seven months that a street cheer will be held at Gwanghwamun Square since the three group games and the round of 16 match against Brazil at the World Cup in Qatar last November.

This will be the sixth time a large-scale group cheer has been held at the U-20 World Cup, with the most recent one being during the final against Ukraine in 2019.
